Volunteer for our campaign!

Zero Tolerance, Amina Muslim Women’s Resource Centre, the Church of Scotland and Summerhall are inviting you to join our team of volunteers. We work to end men’s violence against women and we can’t do it without you!

Are you passionate about women’s rights or perhaps you would like to learn more about it? Would you like to be part of an exciting national campaign to increase awareness and understanding of violence against women in Scotland?

Whatever your reason you want to get involved, we can’t do it without you! Come and get involved by joining our volunteer team.

Giving time is just as valuable as giving money. You can volunteer with us, donate your skills and help us to make a real impact on the lives of women and girls.

By joining the team you can contribute in lots of different ways from helping with setting up an exhibition, street campaigning (not fundraising), taking pictures, making short videos and helping us with a short series of conversation cafe events.

At times you might have to roll up your sleeves but you will also have the chance to meet some interesting people, make new friends and hopefully learn a lot too!

Please only apply if you are available on:

20th February 2019, 4-6pm for training/volunteer meeting event at Zero Tolerance, NUS Office, 1 Papermill Wynd, Edinburgh EH7 QL.

At least some of:

8-10th March 2019 for the street campaign (incl. street campaigning, photo and video work)

3-17th March for promotion and marketing, exhibition and help with conversation cafe events

If you fancy becoming one of our volunteers then complete this very short registration: https://goo.gl/forms/P0AUbn14zeRfogBv2

We are looking for volunteers of all genders, ages, ethnicities and abilities.

While we try to place every prospective applicant, we reserve the right to offer only those placements we feel are appropriate. If you have any questions before applying please get in touch with: Joanna Zawadzka, Campaigns and Engagement Officer at Zero Tolerance on: jo.zawadzka@zerotolerance.org.uk
