International Women's Day 2020
International Women's Day 2020 (Sunday 8 March) is a busy time for us here at Zero Tolerance!
We have lots of exciting events coming up that we are organising, co-organising, and attending. So here's your quick fire round up of everything we'll be getting up to at the start of next month - we hope to see you there!
Chalk - Five short plays about violence against women
We are very excited to announce that, in partnership with Amina The Muslim Women’s Resource Centre we have created Chalk. The five short plays give an intimate view into realities of everyday violence many women face.

Violence Unseen in South Lanarkshire
From the 6 March to 3 April, our exhibition will be touring South Lanarkshire, visiting Hamilton, East Kilbride, Cambuslang, and Lanark.
The exhibition, created with award-winning photographer Alicia Bruce, explores the types of violence against women that remain unseen and unacknowledged by mainstream society. The photographs shine a light on the types of violence against women that still remain unacceptably hidden and better represent the constellation of women’s lived experiences.

Women Being Conference
The second interdisciplinary conference on gender studies and the status of women will be held from 8-11 March in Edinburgh. Our Violence Unseen exhibition will be at the conference along with lots of our materials.

IberoDocs, WomenBeing and Zero Tolerance strongly believe in the power of partnerships. In 2020 we are collaborating to organise a discussion panel and closing party of our events in February and March.
Join IberoDocs 7th edition and the 2nd WomenBeing International Conference's closing parting. Meet us at Akva (Fountainbridge) for an evening of feminist video-art with selected films curated by FEM TOUR TRUCK, Fado live music with the presence of Mariana Moreira, and network and dance with us to songs with the special flavour of the warm Ibero-American culture.
