Have yourself a gender equal Christmas

For many caregivers, the run up to Christmas is a time where it can feel like there is endless, inescapable marketing and advertising for children’s toys, media, and games - all vying to make it onto Santa’s list and many of which will be marketed in a highly gender specific and unhelpful manner. So what can you do this Christmas to minimise the effects of gender stereotyping?

Read Lisa's blog to find out more about the event and how you can get involved in the fight to end sexism and violence against women.

We hope that the current debate willl enable a conversation about a new approach in Scotland, that starts from questioning why men buy sex.

New term: time for MSPs to get to work

It’s the first week of a new parliamentary term in Scotland. The Scottish Parliament reconvened on 1 September after the summer recess.
