Scottish Women’s Aid: Census Day 2010

On the 22nd September 2010, SWA undertook a census day snapshot of all affiliated refuges across the country. 737 women and 451 children and young people contacted Women’s Aid on this day. 40 women and 41 young people asked for refuge accommodation, but no spaces could be found for 16 women and 20 young people.
