National Care Service (Scotland) Bill Consultation
The consultation asks for views on 1. SG’s amendments to the Bill as introduced at Stage 2, and 2. the first draft of a Charter for the National Care Service.
While a large part of the consultation was outside our remit, we gave general feedback for the need for the Bill to be gendered. The Charter should outline explicitly freedom from coercion, violence, and abuse for all service users. This is especially important for disabled women who regularly experience violence in care settings.

Zero Tolerance's consultation response for the Disability Commissioner (Scotland) Bill. The Bill aims to establish a Disability Commissioner for Scotland, whose primary purpose will be to promote and safeguard the rights of disabled people. Zero Tolerance fully supports the main proposal of the Bill.
