For MSPs

As part of International Women’s Day, we are asking for your support in our #AnyWomanAnywhere campaign.

Violence Against Women is not inevitable. We can all work to end violence against women. We can raise awareness that violence exists in many forms and it affects all women. And we can challenge gender inequality which leads to this violence.

We are asking you to:

1. Read about how to prevent violence against women

Our short Primary Prevention briefing outlines how to prevent violence against women.

2. Start #TalkingGender

Use our example tweets and blurb for your website, email colleagues about the campaign, display poster and leaflets, - change one person’s mind and help to change a culture.

3. Implement prevention work in your constituency

Read our new 4-page Violence Prevention in your constituency: A Short Guide for MSPs.

4. Support prevention work across Scotland

Support Equally Safe projects and funding of external primary prevention projects.
