Zero Tolerance is a Scottish charity working to end men’s violence against women by promoting gender equality and by challenging attitudes which normalise violence and abuse.
Our work began in 1992 with a series of iconic poster campaigns designed to raise awareness and challenge attitudes about violence against women.
The focus of our work today is on primary prevention. We want to change the social attitudes and values which permit violence to occur. We take a practical, evidence-based approach to challenging violence and promoting change. To find out more about primary prevention, read the Zero Tolerance Primary Prevention Briefing Paper on recent preventative strategies undertaken in Scotland.
