Zero Tolerance: Peer Research Project

From mid June to October we will be working alongside peer researchers (aged 14-19) to explore young peoples’ views on sex, relationships and culture in Scotland.

We will do this in several ways: by conducting an online survey; running focus groups and sharing a final report of our findings.

This work builds on the ‘Under Pressure: Preventing Teen Abuse and Exploitation’ report that highlighted youth workers’ concerns about the impact of ‘porn culture’ on young people and their relationships.

You can support this piece of work in three ways by:

  1. Encouraging young people to complete the online survey (individually works best)
  2. Recommending young people we can recruit as peer researchers  (we’re recruiting now)
  3. Hosting a focus group (you provide the young people – we’ll do the rest)

Please contact Melissa on M: 0777 219 8173 or E: melissa.byrne@zerotolerance.org.uk if you’d like to get involved or need further information.
