Vacancy: Under Pressure Training Officer

Zero Tolerance is seeking an Under Pressure Training Officer to contribute to its work to end violence against women in all its forms, through a prevention approach and promoting gender equality.

Under Pressure Training Officer (Part-time)

We are looking for someone with excellent skills in training and partnership working, and knowledge of youth work and gender equality issues, to lead the delivery of our Under Pressure train the trainer programme for youth and residential care workers.

Core Job Purpose:

  • To lead on the development and delivery of the Under Pressure train the trainer programme.
  • To co-ordinate the Under Pressure steering group.
  • To review and update the Under Pressure training programme where necessary.
  • To maintain and develop relationships with key partners.

Hours and salary:

  • The post is 15 hours p/w, usually worked over two days
  • The post is funded until 31 March 2019
  • The salary is £9,987 (pro-rata of £24,967 FTE)

General information

  • Zero Tolerance offers a 6% employer contribution to a pension provider of your choice.
  • We offer 38 days of annual leave including 10 public holidays to full-time employees (pro-rata for part-time employees, increasing after 3 years’ service to 41 days annual leave including 10 public holidays, or the pro-rata equivalent), and we operate a flexible working hours policy.
  • The post is based at our office in Papermill Wynd, Edinburgh, but will involve regular travel across Scotland, with overnight stays possible.
  • The closing date for applying for this post is Sunday 1st April 2018.
  • Interviews will be held on Monday 9th April.
