16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence 2019
Today, is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the first day of the #16Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence.
Violence against women is caused by gender inequality and exacerbated by other forms of inequality. To end this violence we must end inequality.
This year our 16 Days calendar is packed and we have lots we'd like you to get involved with!
Debate at the Scottish Parliament
The annual 16 Days debate at the Scottish Parliament is this Wed 27 Nov.We want you to email your MSPs to urge them to attend to start a national conversation about prevention.

Our biggest event for the 16 Days is the Write to End Violence Against Women Awards.
On Wednesday 4 December from 17:30 at Scottish Parliament hosted by Jackie Baillie MSP.
