Vacancy: Rape Counselling & Resource Centre (Kilmarnock)

Part time Centre Manager – (28 hours/week)

Starting salary £28,000 per annum pro rata

Fixed term contract to March 2015


An experienced Manager is required to lead our small dedicated team. Experience of strategic change, fundraising and a thorough knowledge of issues relating to sexual violence is required, as is experience of volunteer management.


The Rape Counselling and Resource Centre (RCRC) is a small, independent charity working to provide free confidential and non-judgemental support to women and girls in East Ayrshire who have experienced sexual violence at any time in their lives. Following recent restructuring to become a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation, Rape Counselling & Resource Centre require an experienced Centre Manager who will play a crucial role in the redevelopment of the service.

Reporting to the Board of Trustees, your key responsibilities will include: working with the Board of Trustees to develop a 3 year strategic plan and accompanying fundraising strategy for the organisation; co-ordinating the ongoing work of the centre; managing and developing a volunteering recruitment  and supervising and supporting paid and unpaid staff.
