Gender Stereotyping in the Early Years - Just Like A Child Workshop

In partnership with Zero Tolerance the Scottish Border VAW Partnership are hosting a workshop in the Scottish Borders to introduce the concept of "gender stereotyping in the Early Years" in order that we can develop a better understanding of the importance of tackling gender inequality at the earliest possible stage. Using the newly launched “Just Like A Child - Challenging Gender Stereotyping in the Early Years A guide for Childcare professionals"

The workshop will give participants the opportunity to explore:

  • The impact of gender stereotypes in the early years and wider society;
  • What the impacts are and how we can challenge them in our professional and personal lives.
  • We hope that we can offer this to as wide a range of professionals/carers etc as possible. Should demand exceed capacity we will prioritise those working directly in early years.

Please fill in the attached booking form. Any questions or queries, please get back to me, and we look forward to receiving your booking!!
