Quality Standards Manager (Ref: QSM12)
Salary Scale: £31,968 to £33,813 pro rata
This project is for a six month period and is being offered as either an employment contract with Youth Scotland, a freelance contract or a secondment
The Quality Standards Manager will research, review and potentially develop a quality standards model for volunteer led youth work in partnership with a range of partners. The successful candidate will be required to use a community development approach, build effective relationships and deliver a well researched and evidenced framework which will recognise the value and quality of youth work delivery to young people within volunteer led youth groups
Girls on the Move Development Worker (Ref: GOTMDW12)
Salary Scale: £24,903 to £28,866 pro rata
Youth Scotland's Girls on the Move project is designed to increase physical activity levels among girls and young women in Scotland. The project provides opportunities for young women to participate in sport and physical activity, improve their health and well-being, and increase their confidence and self-esteem.
The successful candidate will be a creative, enthusiastic motivator with a portfolio of skills and a proven track record of inspiring and innovative work with young people.
This post will be subject to successful PVG Scheme membership.
These posts are both based in Edinburgh. The ability to travel and to work evenings and weekends is essential.
