Lanarkshire Rape Crisis Centre recruiting volunteers

The Lanarkshire Rape Crisis Centre (LRCC) supports women and girls over 12 years of age who have experienced rape and other forms of sexual violence including child sexual abuse, no matter when it happened to them. LRCC deliver services across both North and South Lanarkshire.  The centre was established just over 11 years ago, and they are seeking to recruit volunteers with a range of skills and qualities to help with various areas of work.

Volunteers are needed to help:

  • Deliver support to survivors of rape & sexual abuse
  • Support fundraising activities to generate income
  • Support admin within the office

Volunteers are needed with various skills and knowledge in the following areas:

  • Financial/fundraising
  • Voluntary sector
  • Gender based violence
  • Feminism
  • Equality and diversity

LRCC is keen to engage women who have an understanding of Gender Based Violence. Excellent training and information will be provided to successful applicants.
