Reclaim the Night

Join the Reclaim the Night;

StartiReclaim the Night Afterpartyng at 7.30pm the Usher Hall on Lothian Road and marching to Teviot Row House in Bristo Square.

The March after party will be held Teviot Dining Room and Lounge Bar* from 10pm - 1am.

Live music Live music from Glasgow based Scragfight, Hannah Werdmuller, Gudrun Hurt, Jeane Dark and then dancin' to some fine feminist tunes...

The first Reclaim the Night march was held in Belgium in 1976 by a group of women, to protest the horrific levels of violence against women worldwide. Since then marches have been held all over the world as a part of the movement to stop violence against women.

On the 28th of May Reclaim the Night will march through the centre of Edinburgh. Everyone is welcome, however there will be a women's-only area at the front of the march. We will begin marching at the Usher Hall on Lothian Road and make our way towards Teviot Row House in Bristo Square. We'll finish up the night in Teviot Dining Room and Lounge Bar with speakers and music.

*The venue will be open to non-students as well on the night, so don't worry if you don't have a student card you will be able to get in to the building.
