Under Pressure: Teen Abuse and Sexual Exploitation

In partnership with YWCA Scotland

A one day training course for professionals working with young people, aimed at increasing awareness of the issue of abuse and sexual exploitation in young people’s relationships and equip workers with skills and knowledge to prevent and address this problem in their practice.

Recently piloted across six local authority areas in Scotland, the training is divided into four activity-based workshops:

1. Under pressure to be sexy: Growing up in a porn culture
2. Under pressure in love: What’s OK and what’s not OK in teen relationships
3. Under pressure to cross the line: Sexual exploitation and risk
4. Under Pressure to do something about it: Making change

If you are interested in attending future training days or want to know more, please contact info@zerotolerance.org.uk.

Zero Tolerance and YWCA Scotland have today published a report of a training pilot, Under Pressure: Preventing Teen Abuse and Exploitation which found that youth workers across Scotland are seriously concerned about the prevalence of teen abuse in Scotland.
